1. Why is there a black screen at the end of my videos after playback?
This problem may be caused by using the “Amber” skin for VidOn XBMC. To change your XBMC skin to the original please navigate to “System” -> “Appearance” -> “Skin” and select “Confluence”.
2. My VidOn XBMC is unstable, what should I do?
Please try to remove your current version and install the latest version of VidOn XBMC.

Hardware Acceleration on the VidOn Server
The VidOn Server combines the best hardware acceleration to offer you an outstanding user experience.
1. VidOn Server’s Hardware Acceleration feature must first be supported by your graphics cards.
2. Please make sure your graphics card is up to date with the latest drivers.

How does the VidOn Server accurately scrape all media?
The VidOn Server will accurately scrape meta data for your media that is properly named:
1. Movie FileNaming
1.1 Single Movie File:
Use the official movie name for your file.
Example: Movie Name.mkv
1.2 Segmented Movie File(Multi-part movies)
For a movie divided into multiple files, be sure to include the part number
at the end of the file name in the following format:
_pt1, _pt2
The following may also be used: _cdX, _ptX, _partX, _discX, _dvdX (where X represents the file part number).
Example: Movie Name _pt1.mp4, Movie Name _pt2.mp4
2. TV Show File Naming:
2.1 Supported TV Show naming conventions
Show Name s01e12 (s: season number, e: episode number)
Show Name_s01_e12 (s: season number, e: episode number)
Show Name_s01_d01 (s: season number d: disc number)
Show Name_1x12 (1: season number, 12: episode number)

1. Can the VidOn box output HDMI and SPDIF audio at the same time?
Yes, to do so please go to “Settings”,
then ”Audio”, and cancel “Enable passthrough”, and select both the “HDMI” and
“S/PDIF” options.
2. Why does the VidOn Box reset when I
touch it?
This problem may be caused by static. If
this problem occurs, please discharge before touching the VidOn Box.
3. Does the VidOn Box support HDMI-CEC?
Like many other android boxes, the VidOn
Box does not support HDMI-CEC.
4. Does the VidOn Box support USB 3.0?
No, the VidOn Box only has two USB 2.0
ports.
5. Why doesn't the VidOn Box recognize my
hard drive when connected to the USB ports?
Because of the power support, the sub
hub near the antenna only supports flash disks. If you connect two external
hard drives, you may need an external power supply for the one nearer the
antenna.
6. Does the VidOn Box support wireless
devices?
The VidOn box supports wireless mice and
keyboards, but it does not support blue tooth devices.
7. What is the maximum hard drive support
of the VidOn Box?
The VidOn Box is capable of supporting up to a 3TB external
hard drive. There is no limitation for NAS support.
8. Does the VidOn Box
support third party accessories?
Yes, but please make sure
the accessories are compatible with android set top boxes.
9. Does VidOn Box support third party
software or apps?
The VidOn Box runs Android 4.4 so you
may download apps from Google play in addition to installing your own apps. It
support apps such as Netflix, Youtube, Hulu plus, and Pinterest. You may
install these apps by clicking their icons on the main screen. The VidOn Box

1.1 Is VidOn Remote for all the Blu-ray Boxes running Android?
Nope, it is designed exclusively for VidOn XBMC.
1.2 How does VidOn Remote work on VidOn XBMC?
a. Make sure your phone running VidOn Remote share the same WLAN with VidOn XBMC;
b. Start VidOn XBMC and go to System->Settings->Services;
c. Open Webserver->Enable “Allow control of XBMC via HTTP”, and then set up the port, username and password;
d. Start VidOn Remote, tap the button at the top right corner, and then tap “Connect to device” from the menu to automatically search for VidOn XBMC, or manually connect to VidOn XBMC.
1.3 How to manually connect my phone to VidOn XBMC?
a. Go to “Add Device” page;
b. Enter the device name (XBMC to be connected), otherwise, system will use the IP address if the Name is unspecified;

User Guide of VidOn Media Center
VidOn Media Center is an Android based
launcher and video playback and management software, designed as a home entertainment solution for
all of your digital media. The VidOn Media Center's built in video player
supports Blu-ray menu navigation and 3D Blu-ray playback, as well as a huge
variety of popular video formats. The cloud backup function can even quickly
and easily back up your photos and videos (PC, External hard drive and Nas) and
help you build a fortress to protect your valuable digital media.

Initial Settings
Initialization comes along
with the first bootup. The whole initialization process will take about 3
minutes.
After the process completed,
please follow the wizard to do some settings.

Choose Wi-Fi to open Wi-Fi

required for a protected Wi-Fi. A successful connection will appear like this:
Wired Network
The box will automatically
connect to the network after a network cable is plugged in. If you check the
“DHCP” box, then IP address will be automatically obtained.
If you prefer a manual
configuration, just uncheck “DHCP” then choose each setting entry to set
manually.

Check the options of
“Automatic Time Zone Sync” and “Automatic Time Sync”, then the system will
automatically synchronize time zone and time. If you want to set a time zone or

from HDMI and S/PDIF. And choose whether to enable passthrough.

Once a new version is
